In the right corner, a malicious figure in yellow stalks its prey, the young maidens of Shiloh. The day that began brightly, full of joyous dance, becomes a dark night for those pure, young souls who find their world turned upside down.
In those days…This verse is added as an excuse for unlawful crimes, terrible disasters, evaded vows, and unqualified excesses of penalty. The daughters of Shiloh went out to dance in the open air. The women, alone and enjoying their light, floating spirit, were not afraid of danger. The men of the tribe of Benjamin took them by force, executing their plan. Every man did what was right in his own eyes; there was no one to hold them back, nor punish them for the rape of The Daughters of Shiloh.
