The Amazon fires pose a threat to human health and aggravate global warming. Huge tracts of the Amazon, which serves as the lungs of the planet, are ablaze.
The colors and forms of this work respond to my emotional state in the face of such a terrible ecological disaster. Within that scorched environment, some isolated spots remind us what the Amazon was before the start of this pandemonium.
